Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $8,951,781 to the Effective Ventures Foundation (EVF) to support the Centre for Effective Altruism, which works to build and support the effective altruism community.
This follows Open Philanthropy’s November 2023 support and falls within its focus area of Global Catastrophic Risks Capacity Building.
The grant amount was updated in October 2024.
