Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of €423,760 (approximately $460,621 at the time of conversion) over three years to Eurogroup for Animals to support their efforts to insert farm animal welfare language into EU trade agreements. The farm animal welfare team views trade agreements as a relatively neglected way to improve the welfare of farmed animals.
This follows Open Philanthropy’s February 2022 support and falls within its focus area of farm animal welfare.
