Good Ventures awarded a grant of $229,225 to the Veterans Education and Research Association of Northern New England for research to investigate the association between herpes virus infections and risk of developing dementia, as well as the effects of anti-herpetic medications on this risk. The work is led by Yinong Young-Xu, ScD, MA, MS, Chief Methodologist for the Clinical Epidemiology Program at the White River Junction Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
