Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $410,000 to the Council on Strategic Risks to support mentorship and idea generation aimed at preventing the development of biological weapons. The Council on Strategic Risks will use this funding to recruit fellows and conduct research and workshops related to reducing the risks from biological weapons.
