Open Philanthropy recommended two “exit grants” totaling $3,000,000 over two years to Animal Equality to support cage-free and broiler welfare campaigns. Animal Equality plans to use these funds to support work in Italy, Spain, Germany, the US, the UK, Brazil, Mexico, and India, including corporate campaigns, investigations, and general operations.
This follows Open Philanthropy’s February 2020 support and represents an “exit grant” that will provide Animal Equality with approximately two years of operating support. It falls within Open Philanthropy’s focus area of farm animal welfare.
