The Against Malaria Foundation (AMF) works with field partners, primarily in sub-Saharan Africa, to distribute insecticide-treated nets that protect against the mosquitos that transmit malaria.
Insecticide-treated nets are well studied and distributing them is considered among the most cost-effective ways to save lives. AMF conducts a series of surveys and checks to ensure that its nets benefit households who need them, are used properly and consistently, and last over time.
