The Open Philanthropy Project recommended a grant of £282,000 (approximately $374,631 at the time of conversion) over two years to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) to support a corporate chicken welfare campaign in the United Kingdom. Using this funding, RSPCA will launch a campaign encouraging retailers and food companies to adopt higher welfare broiler chicken practices.
This grant falls within Open Philanthropy’s work on farm animal welfare.
