The Open Philanthropy Project awarded a grant of $1,500,000 over two years to support the launch of the Fair and Just Prosecution project, a 501(c)(3) organization that will be housed at the Tides Center. This grant falls within Open Philanthropy's work on criminal justice reform.
The Fair and Just Prosecution project will provide guidance, assistance and networked support to recently elected prosecutors committed to change and innovation as they seek to implement criminal justice system policy and practice reforms in their offices.
