Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of £2,065,000 (approximately $2,506,291 at the time of conversion) to the Global Priorities Institute, via Effective Ventures Foundation, to support operational costs. The Global Priorities Institute is an interdisciplinary research center at the University of Oxford that conducts foundational cause prioritization research.
This follows Open Philanthropy’s August 2022 support and falls within its work on global catastrophic risks.
